…especially if you’re into arts and literature.

Wednesday, April 15th, there will be an investigative journalism presentation and luncheon in the Senate Chambers of the Union. It starts at 12 and will feature a lecture by Robin Fields, former LA Times reporter.

Thurdsday, the 16th, renowned poet Nicole Cooley is coming to read some of her work to ESU students in Beers Lecture Hall at 4:30.

AND “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” will be running throughout the rest of the week. It’s getting RAVE reviews, so stop down to Fine Arts and see when you can check it out.

Hope you’re not too worn out from the Asher Roth concert last night.
There are still a TON of great events going on to finish out the week!

Tonight, the 27th in Common Grounds there will be “Boppin Bingo for Jess” at 10.

Tomorrow, the 28th, there’s a bus trip to see the Wizard of Oz in New York City.

On Monday, March 30th, Reno 911 is coming! This is going to be a great event, and ESU students get one free ticket! The comedy show will start at 8 p.m. in the Abeloff Center for the Performing Arts. I suggest you make it a point to head down and enjoy this free event.

If that doesn’t satisfy your comedy needs, you can go see Geoff Keith on Tuesday the 31st. He’s a comedian and he’ll be in Common Grounds at 8 p.m.

Sorry, Joe Caviston, I totally just jacked this off your Facebook

If you haven’t checked out Joe Caviston’s music blog Alternative Minded yet, I suggest you do so immediately.

Last week he profiled rapper Asher Roth, and featured his music video for “I Love College.”

Well now the very same artist, whose video was recently featured on MTV, is coming to East Stroudsburg!

There’s already a Facebook event for it (which came up on my news feed thanks to Joe) and according to that page, he’ll be at the Sherman Theatre on March 26th at 8 p.m.

The page says tickets will go on sale in the Union some time after spring break. It also says there’s going to be free bar entrance after the show. What more could you possibly ask for?

Check out Joe’s blog for more on this rising star.
